UNIDENTIFIED PERSON CASE - PENNSYLVANIA
PERRY TOWNSHIP - BERKS COUNTY JOHN DOE
DATE OF DISCOVERY: JUNE 25, 2003
DETAILS OF CASE
This young man was located in the Schuylkill River in Perry Township by two people tubing in the river. The body was found off Five Locks Road near Fisher Dam Road. Authorities are uncertain how long he had been in the river.
The weather had been unseasonably cold in the week before the body was found, and there was considerable rainfall. The Schuylkill River was running 8 to 10 feet above normal. There is a dam some four miles upriver from where the victim was found. Due to the nature of the dam construction, the victim is believed to have entered the river at some point between the dam and where the body was found.
