Why Did I Write the Article? I wrote this article because I love playing video games and as a youth-centric media outlet, I thought that writing something like this would connect me to people who love playing video games too. I grew up on video games like most people, I have my favorite titles. For the most part, I am like a 2000s gamer. I love platformers, I love action adventures, I love anime fighting games, and a plethora of other stuff that came out between the late 90s - 2000s because that was my childhood. There are aspects of gaming like politics and business-oriented topics I want to tackle and cover on CBT to inspire the next generation or the next big hopefully the brain behind a big gaming IP or company and to do that I have to bring somebody on board who is more versed in that aspect of gaming than I am. I will admit I am somewhat casual these days and I am not too attached to a series or IP even though I would like to. The only game I literally play these is "Archero", a rouge-like RPG even though I literally have thousands of games - again literally - I have to play. I have games on my Steam Account, Epic Account, Amazon Games Account, PS2/GBA/N64 emulators, games that I got through "itch.io" for $5 during their 1000 indie games bundle to support Black Lives Matter and the George Floyd Protest, PC games I either downloaded or my brother downloaded me, as well as physical games I have not touched in a minute. Hopefully, after reading the article and reading this post we can have a conversation or discussion about different aspects of video games in the CBT community form on the website. Just like anybody else, I LOVE VIDEO GAMES ☺️.
